I like the Damage Control pedals with the 12AX7 tubes in them.

The womanizer has a great sound (to me anyways).

Ibanez-Who doesn't like TS-808?

There are more I like, but these are faves. No I don't own all of them, but I would if I could justify it ^^

Edit: OMG I forgot old ProCo RATs. Love me the LM308 chip.

Fulltone - make the first wah I've used that doesn't gut the low end of my jazzmaster, after years and years of wahs and wahs. I love Mike Fuller forever for that! The OCD is awesome too.

Keeley - makes other companies' pedals sound like you wanted them too.

EHX - just for sheer funky imagination in the stuff they come up with...

ZVex - wooh for experimentation. This guy makes pedals like it's the 60s and everything is up for question and no sound is too weird.

MXR - some of these are classics for very good reasons.

Boss - yes, hidden in there are some total gems. And give them credit, they changed the game. Now everyone can have a flanger!

So bored with TS9 clones.... bored bored. The most over-rated pedal in history I think. In previous decades when the shortcomings of PAs meant we cranked guitar amps up very very loud it had a role. Its extreme attenuation of low freqs was perfect for taming the flubbiness you get with many amps at full crank, and its big mid boost would smooth out harsh highs. But now we're in the decades of playing at moderate volumes it's not that usefull. Woops, I'll shutup now! 8)

Fulltone. The GT-500 Overdrive/Distortion pedal and Full Drive 2 MOSFET are always in my pedal chain.

Ibanez. The AD-9 Analog Delay enhances the reverb on my Fender tube amps. I can't plug in without it anymore.
