this last christmas i have accumulated about $400 from relatives. my parents make me put half in my savings account every year so i am left with $200 to spend. i was wondering if yall had any ideas for any pedals or accessories that might be useful for me to spend my extra cash on. please dont say buy another guitar because i got one for Christmas. The pedals i already have are Electro harmonix holy grail and Boss BD-2 blues driver; so please dont name those.

Thanks for the help and i hope yall had a merry Christmas.

Tanner1994,

I think it's time for a Wah pedal.

Dunlop and Vox are my 2 favorite wah pedals. I currently own a Dunlop Crybaby Classic, but there are many dfferent ones out there.

Heres a thought,
Since your folks got you such a nice guitar and amp, maybe you should get something nice for them???

Yeah after seeing the pedals you listed, a Wah was the first to come to my mind as well. I've got a Dunlop Crybaby that works great and I get a great sound from it.

Theres hundreds of new toys out on the market. For instance;

The Morpheus droptune which enables you to drop tune a guitar without retuning.

Theres the new electro harmonix stereo cathedral reverb which looks pretty cool and their 22 caliber power amp pedal.

Theres the new line 6 M9 which looks amazing, but its a little over $200...

Could get a power brick for you pedals too i guess then anything left over put towards a little pedal like the nano series by Electro harmonix.
Power bricks always turned me off the idea of pedals since you have to spend alot of money on them or Batteries.

Start here, look at the different models:

I have the Crybaby Classic. I have used one for years. They are built like a tank and you can modify them easily if needed.

Deffinetly a Wah check out the one that doubles as a volume pedal I think you will dig it and you also have something else in your arsenal. I would also look at a delay.
