I have used this name for a wide range of things. But probably the first time I used it was when I had a Diablo II LoD account by that name and named a Female Sorceress by the same name. I originally got the idea from an old Star Trek Next Generation episode, the one where Westly Crusher, (not my favorite character), was experimenting with a warp bubble as a new form of propulsion, or some such.

Since then, every game I have played begins with a character named "Warpfield" and is usually some kind of spell caster.

My name, Hoeycow, comes from one of my favorite shows growing up which was the Goonies. When Data gets excited and starts blabbering on in his broken english one of the words that he said that always stuck out to me was Hoeycow! as in Holy Cow! A few buddies of mine started bugging my about my Goonies and started calling me Hoeycow and it's stuck ever since.

Ah hah! Thought so. Don't know if it was 8d but I saw a number of McLarens race in the old Can-Am series at Riverside International Raceway. I seem to recall that Denny Hulme drove the car.

My username is just a play on my first name.

I chose my user name because guitarslinger seemed too long a word so I chopped it up short .

My username is taken from a Queen song called "Khashoggi's Ship", which is off of "The Miracle" album. I sometimes use "Commander Khashoggi" on other sites, but since I didn't know if the forum would allow me to put spaces in, I just went with "Khashoggi".
"Commander Khashoggi" is the name of a character in the "We Will Rock You" musical, just saying. :P

I had a 2001 YZF 426 which I ended up selling rather quickly. I ride woods. Enduros and scrambles and such As a woods bike the 426 made a great motocrosser. Prolly should have bought the WR but I ended up with a 2002 KTM 380E/XC and couldn't be happier. Street bike is a Beemer.

Hence my user name.

Pretty self-explanatory. I'm a rather large fellow that first name begins with a V . I was born in 1957. That simple...

I got a Netcom account years ago, one of the first, and picked a unique name. But they eventually sold out to a company that had grown much larger through marketing to the folks at home. I had to pick a new name, so I tried "philip". No good, how about "philip1" ... nooooo ...

After a few tries, the software must have detected where I was going and helpfully offered that the first available login in my sequence was philip602.

How unique. How "me" ... well, more like how representative of our modern age. With increasing uniformity and conformity today, I could imagine everyone having a personalized name like philip602 some day and so that's what I've used ever since.

I wasn't thinking when i registered, and like a putz, i threw my name up as one word, not realizing that it would be in all my posts for all eternity. I wish i could change it to something humorous, but i'll bet the rule is that names stay as they are, sigh....... Image

I got the idea for mine from the Crate amp Blue Voodoo. I've never played the amp but I thought the name was cool and fits the Hendrix style blues I frequently mangle.
