So since day one of joining this forum, we have the username that we chose to represent us. It is not a plea to be able to change it, but rather a question on it's relation with who we are now, after a few months or a few years. Do you feel that your username still represents you or the original idea that you wanted to be shared. Did your username had any meaning at all, is it your real name or is it just a "required field for registration"?
I registered under my own name because I messed up thinking that I could choose an original name later. I would choose Gali if I had to register now. Still part of my name though. :)

I picked up mustangtoo from a magazine article about the underappreciated 74-78 Mustang which I owned many years ago. I started using it as my e-mail ID then here and then Twitter but not available on Myspace.

It's misleading because I don't own a Mustang and probably will never be able to afford one but most people that have known me for many years will never forget my efforts to resurect an otherwise trashed car.

I hope you enjoy the forum and remember a name is just a name. On Myspace I had to go with ALF cause even my band name was taken "Civil Disturbance"

I remember getting "this user name is already in use" rejections on my first few tries so I used an email address. At the very least I would have capitalized the first letters in my name.

The Celtic in mine comes from the football team I support, The world famous Glasgow Celtic (estimated 9 million fans worldwide) who represent the huge Irish community in the west of Scotland of which I am descended. And I love them deeply cos when all 5h1t hits the fan I still got my Celtic.

Cyclonus is taken from my favourite Transformer, the resurrected Skywarp from the 86 movie starring Leonard Nimoy and Orson Welles. I have a huge collection of boxed 80's Transformers and unread comic books. Another escape of mine.

So yeah it does represent me still although if I had the choice I would choose something to do with my 72 Tele Custom RI who everyone knows as Lexi.

Claude, you have an excellent name, one of my favorites.
This was my first forum, although I was a facebook member for about a year I never really participated. So, since Fender was always my favorite solid body electric guitar I thought that I would make a good impression with my ability to turn a phrase by writing something positive about Fender guitars. SBLS is my username here facebook photobucket but pretty many of the Bros here are friends on facebook and know my real name if you don't just look at my profile here. :D 8)

My name is Goran, surname starts with an "M", so it's "Goranm". As simple as that.

All my biker brothers 'n sisters call me VT as my nick so I use that in almost all forums I visit.

The forums are actually the root of the nick, I always had VT as part of the name to show where I was from and it sort of just became the nick.

I add other stuff to it to signify different things, like the model or color of a bike (or guitar).

Were the location of my home different, it could just as easily be Tex, or Montana, or whatever...

I've been called a lot worse things than "VT" in my 56 years on God's green Earth!

Mine is pretty simple. I've been into motorcycles forever, and my favorite bikes are the YZF line by Yamaha. 8)
