binterz will know the Aunt I'm not mentioning though she had a big hit with a certain Mr Page on guitar and had another hit with 2 of the above.

Everyone above I've either worked with, partied with, am friends with or have simply just luckily crossed paths with. Its not a show off list though as there is a few 5h1t names in there that I could not care less about.

[EDIT]: And Kiss and Duncan Goodhew dont even count, my parents met them and they held me as a baby but I have the photos. lol, how random, a bald swimmer and a rock band!
Cheers,

My Aunt works with Hilton Valentine's wife, and I got an autograph and hung out with him a little after a local show.

When I was in college, I worked on the college radio station, and we co-sponsored many of the concerts at the college.

After one concert, I got a chance to meet Roger McGuinn, and we got to talk for a few minutes.

After another concert, I snuck down to the dressing rooms using a little known, little used back stairwell, to ask Charlie Daniels if he'd come up to our studio for an interview. Of course, his manager said no - but as I was ready to leave, Charlie walked out of the dressing room, and I asked him directly. Surprisingly, he agreed!

We went up to the studio, and another DJ and I talked with him for about half an hour or so, when he said, "I thought we were going to go on the air." We told him we'd been live the entire time. He stayed in our studio for another half-hour or so. He's a hell of a nice guy, and a true gentleman.

I also met John Denver as he was walking out of a restaurant.

I've never really met any famous actors or musicians... I used to be on the City Board Of School Commissioners here in our little town in Central Vermont... I guess I'd have to say the most famous would have been...

drum roll please...

Governor Howard "Rebel Yell" Dean!

Oh, my cousin Rick Austin is a producer for MTV... I don't really count relatives and I don't think he's all that famous. 8)

Probably Mike Bloomfield appearing with Elvin Bishop and the Paul Butterfield Blues band in late 60's.. Nice guy to talk with, loved to talk shop.

I met Richard Gere. Nice, down to earth guy. I was in line at the bank on Sunset, he was in front of me. He turned around and started asking me why I had construction debris all over me. WAY different than the other celebs I met working in Hollywood.

I worked for Sony Music Nashville in college so that would be too many folks to name in the entertainment industry. The best for me was meeting Persident George W Bush. I had been the Officer in charge of the military Honor Guard at Ground Zero for the closing ceremonies and on his way out he walked over to me shook my hand and talked with me for a couple minutes. He was a very humble sincere man. It was an honor and thrill for me.

I don't care what any of the haters or Liberals say, I would love to meet the guy and shake his hand or even to get to talk to him. And I am nit just saying that because you are a friend of mine but because I genuinely think he would be an interesting person to meet and talk with.

Thanks BCB. It was amazing. He looked me in the eye and the best part was that it was out of the public eye...so it was not a photo op for him it was the President talking to a lowly captain at the time and he really mad a positive impression on me. The haters and Liberals are just folks who see only what the media wants them to see and not the true person, so in a way, I feel sorry for them because they miss out on a lot of incredible experiences. BTW be safe getting back to Peru! Let me know when you are back there and if you need anything just give a yell!
