For me I met Gordie Johnson and Kelly Hoppe of Big Sugar (Canadian band) after a gig at a meet and greet.
I also met Rob Zombie when I managed a CD store. He was looking for the Shawshank Redemption DVD. I shook his hand and introduced myself. He has surprisingly soft hands! LOL!

When I was working at LSU I met Slash and the rest of Guns and Roses while helping set up for a concert there. I also shook hands and meet Ronald Reagan and Nancy, I meet Buddy Guy there too because his brother was the Head Chef and the Faculty Club.

I ran across a lot of other Musical Acts when they were doing concerts at the University!! 8)

I met Ronald Reagan in 1984. The jazz band I was in played for him during a stop he made in Vegas before the election that year.

Willie Dixon I met him one night when he performed at a concert at our university. They had taken a break between sets and I was determined to meet him as he was a personal hero.I walked past security unchallenged, why I don't know, and there just inide the dressing room door seated by himself was Willie,I don't know if it's because I was star struck but he looked to be well over 6 ft tall,a very imposing figure even when seated.I told him what a huge influence his music was to me and thanked him for being such as positive influence.Being a Hendrix freak I asked him if he ever met Jimi and what he thought of Jimi's cover of Hoochie Coochie Man,He liked it.Willie said this of Jimi who he had met"Man,he was a strange cat,but he was cool."I've also met Marty Stuart a couple of times.Other than that my best friend from my teen years,Timothy Weber, starred in the popular Canadian TV series North of Sixty.

How ironic. North of 60 is partially filmed right near me in Northern Manitoba.

I met Stephen King when i was 11, he was doin' a book signing here in Connecticut. I got my picture with him (Framed on my shelf) and the 7th Dark Tower personalized to me. It wasn't until i got home that my mom said the he really doesnt do stuff like that. So needless to say it was an unforgettable experience

The most popular person i've met is Roy Clark when i was 7 or 8 years old. He used to come down the the farm my family lived on and go duck hunting with my dad. The same with nascar driver Cale Yarborough.
