The Rumpelstiltskin Synergy Implosion.

We had a musicians contact board in the music store where I worked. I would put up a few fake messages to see what would happen. This one went kinda like this:

"We are the Rumpelstiltskin Synergy Implosion. It has come down to us that we are one free thinking unit away from our ultimate state of incompletion. The instrument you play is of no importance. Just meditate and we will find you..."

Lots of people asked me how to contact these guys.

There are always the fun ones like Topless, FreeBeer, or Naked Women. You should really have a brainstorming session with your band and make sure there is nothing too ridiculous to call yourselves. I personally like the names that don't generally have a direct meaning. When a band is named something with a cats or blues in the title your branding yourself. Do a search on Time Bandits or just about any band with Time in the name and you'll get quite a few hits. It may take some time but you can have fun with it. We ended up with This Side Up because it doesn't mean anything and we try to cover just about any kind of music. Good luck and have fun with it.

:) No suggestions should be discarded during the search process. Any of those name could spark inspiration for the real one. I remember that in one Steevie Ray Vaughan's bio, they came up with a lot of strange names in search for one to name one of his first group. They considered ;The Epyleptic Marshmallows amongst other similar. :) See ya.
