Hi, I'm sure I'm not the only one outside the US who is sick of getting emails from Fender for competitions which I can't even enter!

The last two were the Amazon Hendrix Sweepstakes and the J Mascis Dinosaur Junior Jazzmaster competition.

Not only is it unfair that because of my geographical location, I am barred from entering, but I consider such emails as spam! It should be possible to filter out 'illegitimate' email addresses from the database, since I'm sure they have my address.

I know there are rules and laws which make a global sweepstake practically impossible, but could they not at least do the same competitions on a more local level, for example Fender Europe? But no, we mere non-US-residents have to just drool from the outside, with our noses pressed up against the window. I'm pissed, as you yanks would say! ;)

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, anyway......

Don't feel too bad son, I live in the US, have been entering the Fender contests and STILL HAVEN'T WON ANYTHING.

If you don't want to receive the emails anymore . . . unsubscribe.

And quit whining it's unmanly.

Merry Christmas.

Yeah, I know! I probably wouldn't win either! but that's not my point.

But why should I have to unsubscribe? The normal emails are interesting (OK, they're always trying to sell something, but hey, it's Fender!).....
