Gibson is being investigated for using illegal rosewood.

They are also one of the worst companies to work for in 2009

Do a search. It's been talked about quite a bit on here.

all I did is point it out. You couldn't find it. Just saving you the trouble, that's all. No offense intended.

It's been some time Shredd. Where are you playing. If I recall you played the Hardrock or House of Blues right?

Yea, we just got through playing the House of Blues.. What a MESS!! Hahaha!!

We had a whole set-list worked out, practiced hard for the gig, then the morning of the show, our Lead singer sends us all a message that he's extremely sick (which sure enough he was) and lost his voice.

It wouldn't have been such a big deal if it was a regular set that we were playing. Me and the Uke player are both lead singers as well with our own songs.

But it just so happens that this is a 2 1/2 hour set we're playing with half of our originals wiped off the setlist!! OY!! We didn't have our best night, but we didn't cancel. Some songs were shaky, we had to dig into songs we hadn't done in a long time, and in different keys to accommodate the other singer's range. But we were able to make up for them with our own songs scattered through the set. On the fly adversity can be a pain in the $@!, but it just comes with the territory sometimes. The guys at the HOB were grateful that we stuck it out, they knew the situation we were facing.

Pic from the HOB show. You can see Ryan bundled up for this one.

The show with Tribal Seeds is gonna be at the Bunkhouse ( Freemont and 11th) Jan. 29th. We're going to have a good amount of time to practice for this one, so it will definitely be a good show. I think we're playing a good 45-minutes. All original.

Yeah, that sounds cool. I'll be there. 8) Sounds like you guys did a great job at HOB. Improvisation at it's best. Sometimes that's better than what you rehearse.
