Clapton reportedly used used a fender strat on "Tales of Brave Ulysses" from Disraeli Gears. Check out Chris Welch's Cream book.

I think I remember him saying something about that on the Disraeli Gears Classic Album dvd. I know he demonstrates his wah playing on that song using at Strat but I think he also said that he used it on the recording. I could be getting that mixed up though

i didnt say he didnt, the question was "did clapton play a Fender with Cream?" from what i know he picked up Brownie (his most notable Fender) afterwards.
