I've only been on the forum for a few days, but I've got to ask one really dumb question:

Why does the forum close to new posts every day? Other forums I'm on never close to new posts. Seems to me that late in the day and at night would be when the most posting would occur.

Oh well, just my curiosity. :? :?:

I was wondering the same thing since most guitar players are night owls. Maybe the Mods take the time to sort through all the posts? By the way that's not a dumb question.

Despite what the rather sizeable user registration figure might lead one to believe, these forums are actually still in their infancy -- they just launched in June! We're still getting our feet wet with the whole concept and definitely expect to open up the hours over time.

I hadn't realised that the forums were so new - I just assumed it was a cautious approach by Fended in that they carefully moderated all posts to keep offensive stuff out and therefore only opened 'office hours. I quite like the limited hours.. kinda quaint! ;)
