That sounds nice about now!!!! i Shoveled around the doors so we could get out and a spot in the yard for the dogs. The one pooch like the stuff he goes out rolling in it and having fun (Brittany Spaniel) our other one (Boxer) she could do without it.
The Snow is now well above bumpers of the cars, drifts 3,4 feet so we are not going nowhere even in my truck, didn't get no weight in the bed yet. Usually put 350lbs sand bags in the back but did not get around to it and that 8ft. truck bed weights little.
The soup is smelling good though, added the tomato to the chicken broth and waiting for the two chickens to cool enough to pull the meat off the bone and put back into the pot with spices.

Hi Folks,I wish I could go down to the beach today but access is blocked by snow,I live less than 100yds from the beach and the raging North Atlantic. When the temperature drops and the wind comes from the Northeast the cold penetrates even the warmest clothes and the only thing you can do is stay put 'til the snow stops, that's sometimes 2 or 3 days.

Ah man, I guess I missed it (3:00PM now). Maybe next time hopefully a bit closer to Miami. I don't even know where that place is. Probably just cruise the beach until I find it.

Thanks for the invite,

Sorry about the snow, the soup sounds absolutely delicious.

Well we're still waiting for this storm to start here in CT. Gosh I sure wouldn't mind if it just blew out to sea without dropping any snow but sadly I think that will have to remain a wish. Should be really rockin' in no time.

Four inches here outside of Pittsburgh, PA over the last 24+ hours, with maybe one more inch due over the next 24 hours. Not too bad...

P.S. Go Aaron Rodgers!!!

You guys can have and keep that cold weather, ice and snow! I'm fine with 90+ all year long! Can't wait to get back down south where the winters are more suitable for me!

Here in New Jersey, I haven't seen it snow this hard in a LONG time. Last time I hung out the door and stuck a ruler down in the snow on our patio, it was just at seven inches. And that was several hours ago, and it's been snowing very hard ever since around noon.

Haha, I know it's unlikely, but I hope we have a snow day for school on Monday. I mean, why did Mother Nature waste all of this precious snow on the weekend? Why not save it all for a snow day or two, eh?!? ;)

Well its now been coming down really hard for some time now, since last night. Its supposed to be going at around this pace until around 3, 4 p.m. this afternoon so we've still got plenty of go. I haven't been out yet so I don't know how much we have but it sure looks like a lot. Only a very small portion of CT is in a blizzard warning and I happen to live in that portion.

I don't mind the cold but that's to cold the snow sucks! States like Maryland do not see blizzards to often so things take time to get cleared. This morning when I went out we finished with about 23 inches of snow and the drifts covered the cars.We may see a plow in the next day in our community we dug out my four vehicles but the roads are all snow covered. Main roads I hear are doing better now though.
