"WOW" Looking out the window this morning we have about 8" inches of Snow so far and they are say about 24"+ to come doing the day!!!! Looks like we will be stuck in the house today. Winds are blowing like 15mph and temps are 26 "BRRRR" We will be cooking a giant pot of soup today we picked up two whole chickens last night for that. We call it Red Chicken Noodle because we add tomato to it. Just what you need on a winter day like this when you will be clearing snow from the doors and walks.

Yeah here in southeastern CT it looks like we're getting at least a foot with the strong possibility for plenty of more snow. Long Island is under a blizzard warning as is the southwest corner of Rhode Island so we're basically surrounded by blizzard warnings where I live.

Winter in Arizona is bliss. The air is bracing and smells like mesquite. In the night sky, the stars seem closer and brighter.

Perfect for heavy, dark beer, like "1554", by New Belgium. MMmm....

I don't know what the deal is here, but Champaign Illinois is having some wimpy $@! snow. 34º outside, wish it were lower. Snow is smaller than a grain of sand, wish it were much larger.

I love this weather. :]

We are getting a couple inches an hour and the wind gust 20 to 40 mph and wind chills like 10 to 12. News said the Chicago Bears have not been able to get into Baltimore for the game tomorrow yet, they change game time from 1:00 to 4:00 already for tomorrow .

My son is in Norwalk, CT right now and he said he was freezing his but off, especially in my ex's apartment, which is cold to begin with. I'm flying up to NJ on Monday while he flies back here to Florida.

Speaking of which, I'm meeting ZZdoc and Steve today for lunch..we are going to be at Aruba Beach Cafe in Lauderdale-by-the -sea 1:30PM ..mustangtoo, join us...the rest of the Florida gang is also welcome
