Today was my brother Carl's funeral. It was one of the hardest days of my life.
Carl is close, only about 7 miles from me. I will be able to go visit him as often as I want. That will make it a little bit easier and harder at times.

Chet, I'm not sure how much comfort words alone can provide during such a difficult time. Just know there are plenty of folks out here thinking about you and keeping you in their prayers.

+1. Chet, I'm speechless. I'm about the same age as you and the only close family member I have lost so far is my father. Someone I have known for all my life. It is hard.
Can you believe that it took me half an hour to write these few phrases? Chet, we're thinking of you everyday, you're on the MOJO list. You are doing the right thing to talk about you and your brother. Take good care of you. See ya Chet.
Claude.

Chet, you will be in my prayers. God will guide you thru these hard times. Words can't express the sorrow one feels, when a loved one passes.

Sorry for your loss.

I don't think it can be said much better than this. Prayers are with you and your family Chet!

I'm so sorry CAFeathers. You never get over it. How old was your brother and why did he pass, if I may ask? Was he a family man?

My father died last Christmas Day. I was there. It's rough when you realize
nothing is going to stop what you dread.

Chet, you know how we all feel about your loss, and how we all feel about your presence among us. It's good that Carl is close by...my parents are buried 1300 miles away and it's hard to see them. Hang in there.

Chet,
I want to one again offer my condolences as this had to be a terrible day. I'm not sure how much Carl suffered in his last months and days, but at least that part is over for him and he can be at peace. Hang in there and be strong for your family.
