Does anybody know how to actually manufacturer a guitar knob or locate guitar knob parts(not a complete guitar knob but the pieces to construct one) I have looked all over the internet for the internal grommet or bushing that holds the knob onto the volume/tone pots and cannot locate one. I am trying to make a generic fittting knob without the self adjusting screw but if anybody knows where to find those as well than that would be helpful too. I thought this whole guitar knob manufacturing would be an easy task but i see it's a bit more difficult. So i'm basically looking for the internal component that fastens onto the pot or i'm looking for a mold that you can cast the resin around so it fits on the pot after drying. Thanks Guys! Yall rock

Or you could buy a block of nylon or some other material and carve your own out of a billet.

I kinda like this one:

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

You probably need to make a mold if it's plastic. Google mold making and casting model parts.

Metal would require a milling machine or lathe but would make an awesome knob if you are a skilled machinist.
