The Mid 80's MIJ Standard Strat I bought last month has a bridge on it that someone in it's past had tried to make just the saddles look "vintage", "distressed", "antique", whatever you want to call it. I decided to replace the entire bridge with a Callaham Vintage S Model Strat Bridge Assembly.
It arrived today and I must say I am impressed! This is a very well put together bridge assembly. I got the Super Short David Gilmour trem arm.
It probably won't be installed for at least a few days, but I am looking forward to having this bridge installed on my Strat!!!

Hm. This is very helpful. I've been serious about changing my MIM Strat into a vintage machine, so if you say it's worth a check, I'll listen. :]
