Oh man, that's terrible news. My best wishes for the guy. The older I get, the more I feel like every time someone I know personally or otherwise gets cancer, it's like I can hear the cylinder spinning in a genetic revolver in this giant game of Russian Roulette . :(

Saw Ronnie James Dio with Elf at the Coventry Theater in Coventry back in '74, he was warming up the audience for Deep Purple. A great front man I hope that he gets better soon.

As a cancer survivor myself, I can safely say how scary it is when you first get the news and it doesn't really get any easier as you really start getting involved in it. My prayers definitely go out to him!

Prayers and Mojo out to RJD. He is from close to where I grew up in NY. Super guy who when not on tour would just hang around in the small towns and be a real stand up guy! He will pull through this mates he is a tough guy!!

Thats a bummer...on a related Dio note, some psychotic lady who used to call me up all the time when I was an FM DJ claimed to have had a child with Dio back in the 80s...I'm not sure if its true...but if it was, either this lady looked much better then, or Dio must have liked her personality a lot or something.....

I'll 3d that. I know a few VERY close friends who are either through the woods or still making it through the rough parts.
I am glad to hear a happy ending. Mike 26 I love to hear good endings to these C stories.
I hope Mr.Man on the Silver Mountain is alright.
I remember playing "Between Two Hearts " w/ some highschool friends for a pops concert.

Those rough parts can be really tough to get through but its wonderful to make it through the woods. Prayers also to your friends who are still getting through it.
