so i went to GC to get some strings for my acoustic and instead of Martins i got Ernie Ball Earthwood strings. Waaaay better than Martins. The sound it gives on my acoustic is awesome. I was playin the song "The Seeker" by the Who and my acoustic almost sounded distorted with the strings. Awesome sound quality. Anybody else use these strings?

I personally dislike Ernie Ball, but I am glad you found what sounds nice to you. :]

I've always used Elixirs on my Montara, but may consider these provided they come in the right gauge.

I used to use Elixer and Martin but since i started using Ernie Ball that is all i use now. The new Ernie Ball phosfor bronze coated are the best acoustic string on the market that i've tried. I think they have all sizes that the other brands carry and they don't break and last a long time. One thing though, has anyone tried the Red brand strings? I've seen them advertised in gear magazines but can't find a shop that carries them.

I have been using D'Addario for the longest time. But out side of gauge or real cheap strings I dont think I or anyone else could really find my brand if 5 guitars were set up with 5 different sets from other companies.
