I know I'm always talkin about him but Izzy Stradlin's 10th studio album has just been released.

It's called Smoke and is iTunes available only, same as the last 5 albums.

I think it's his best since On Down The Road. The guy just blows me away. As usual he is partnered by Rick Richards of Georgia Satellites fame.

I saw G&R before the Use Your Illusion albums were realeased and the same tour after they came out. The first time Izzy was with them and it made a big difference. Not that they were bad the second time but he wrote a lot of those songs and sang three numbers the first time. A very talented guy indeed.

I know airborne, I've been busy lately so only checking in and out here now and then. Date 2 hasn't happened yet but is this Saturday when we head out for binterz birthday which is tomorrow!! Can't wait. I hope all is well with you bro. Are you all set for the holiday's?

The Izzy solo stuff is unbelievable. Like I said he just blows me away.

I know what you mean stray, Iz was a huge part of that band. He just didn't like the limelight and was also the only person to keep it together and keep his old mate Axl in control. Once he left GN'R started to crumble quickly.

Hope you like the new album or any others of his if you get them.
