Ha! I thought I'd bring something a little different & slightly humourous to the forum tonight :)

This actually happened-
As the story goes, the cop had a film crew with him for his entire shift and began to feel that all they filmed was depressing footage of arrests and drunks. So he decided to throw that comment in out of the blue- turning a very serious situation and throwing a little joke in there..

He said a cops job is allways serious and 'not fun'- by saying what he did he thought he would bring a little humour into the situation.. I have to agree with him, even cops need to to loosen up & have a little fun in their job sometimes :D I couldnt do anything that didnt involve a little fun thats for sure :D

Bah

I've been blowing on pies and other foodstuffs for years now. Thermonuclear pie indeed.

Is it common for people to eat pie in the middle of the night over there?
Or, would it be some sort of meat pie, chicken, perhaps? I mean, is it common enough to use as an excuse when being rousted by the man?

I, for one, really understand a policeman's wanting to rodneyking some people.

I'm fairly certain its a meat pie. Theres only America where a cake or a tart is called a pie to my knowledge.

I think pies are a good enough excuse for any situation.

O.J why did you stab your missus?
Well I was off down the allnight garage for a pie and my mates had ditched me. I get there and find she's had the last steak and kidney.

Perfectly legitimate, the guy would get a lift home in my world.
