I've had great luck with Lakland straps for my basses. They are made of wide woven material and have lots of room for attaching my wireless transmitter and in-ear monitor body paks. I leave all the electronic stuff attached to one strap and simply change basses by disconnecting the straplocks. 'Course, I have to mute the amp and disconnect plug from the jack of the bass first.

well, i used to own those cheap planet wave straps. These couch guitar straps are an upgrade for sure.

they don't feel rough at all. I was picky about the type of leather i wanted, but this was soft enough for me. it makes the guitar feel a bit heavy when you just hold the guitar with one hand, but i don't feel any more weight or pressure points when wearing it.

I'm planning on getting another one if i get another guitar, that's for sure.

I have more straps then any other type of gear. All different materials, sizes, colors, etc. I find I match one up with a particular guitar and the two are mated for life. I guess my current favortie would be my Rat Fink strap http://www.musicemporiuminc.com/productcart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idcategory=77&idproduct=42 and my Jimi Hendrix strap http://www.levysleathers.com/2007%20Straps%20And%20Bags%20Catalog/Product%20Catalog.html, both are Levy's.

Most of my straps are the Fender 2" monogrammed models. They're comfortable and reasonably priced.

Levy's are solid quality, and have tons of styles. I use a 3" wide one to spread out the guitars weight over a large part of my shoulder and back.
