Hi I'm stuck on deciding between the Digi Tech RP255 and the Line 6 Pocket Pod. They're both in the same price range.

The Digi Tech has a wah pedal (Which i do not have yet) and can also get the tones of different amps and guitars.

The Pocket pod has different presets for different artists and songs though as well as get the tones for different models of amps.

Has anyone had any experience with and of these pedals?

I had the Line6, but traded it away for this Korg, which doubles as a USB audio interface :

I take it you didn't like the line 6 then?

The Line 6 pod does good modulation effects (chorus, flange, delay, etc) and decent distortion, but the overdrive kinda sounded wimpy and I tried to dial in a lot to get a good OD sound, but couldn't.

I have the RP 355, a little different than what you are considering, but IMO you can't go wrong with the RP255. The Wah pedal is really nice and the ability to use it in conjunction with your effects at the same time is awesome.

Mike,

That is one nice product there. I am now considering getting one after I get my SCXD amp. I looked at several clips on youtube and can see what you can do with it. I think it may be a great start for my home recording ideas.

Thanks,

RK

Check out the Boss ME 70. It's fully adjustable like a full pedal board. I haven't tried it or own it but it does look pretty good.

The soundclips right there on Korg's site are pretty good too. Is Korg owned by Vox or the other way around?

Forget about a pocket pod. They're no good for gigs (This im presuming) save up just a little more and get one of the Line 6 floor stuff (Like the floor pod, Pedal boards such as the X3 and best of all the M9 or M13.) They're top notch effects

digitechs rp series is good if you wana mess about in your bedroom but if you wana do some good stuff, look at the line 6 pedal boards.

Furthermore, if you can find them, try and find one of the old DOD pedal boards, they're dirt cheap and sound so good, it hurts.
