He's got a new show coming out where they follow him around as apparently he's been on the Sheriffs Department somewhere for a few years now...or is that the show you're talking about?

yeah it was on tonight, i just caught the end of it and they had him out at some bar playing the blues in a band, he was tearing it up. Kinda caught me by surprise because I had no idea he even played.

I had no idea he was a cop either...if this show is a hit, perhaps Gibson will give him a signature guitar like they did Kiefer Sutherland... :P

Yeah, Kiefer plays, but that was pretty much when I knew Gibson had lost their minds...I mean seriously, I think signature guitars should be for people known for their playing, not for people known more for acting who play...Check it out here...I mean its a nice guitar, but a Kiefer Sutherland Signature Model?

Oh wait, I just noticed the Tele...

Thats why Gibson scrapped the Hendrix Strat copies and the Kiefer Sutherland guitar, as Gibson will soon announce a new line of Steven Segal Signature Gibson Telecaster copies...LMAO  8)

Believe it or not Segal has one of the greatest and most important guitar collections on earth that is worth a few million. He was on the cover of Vintage guitar about a few years ago ago and they did an interview with him and also showed off some of his collection.

He was and is friends with some of the greatest players ever which makes this all very strange.lol He owns all three of Albert Kings Flying Vs as well as Muddy Waters -Blue Tele, SRVs -Firebird, Jimi Hendrix -Jazz Master,Freddie Kings- ES345,John Lee Hookers -Epiphone, Albert Collins #2 Tele, besides guitars by BB King, Billy Gibbons and a host of others, he even owns amps of some of these altime greats as well as a slew of pre CBS vintage axes.

It is hard to imagine that Stevan Segal might own the most important guitar collection in the world. As far as his playing skills I dont know but he gigs with great players and has made a few albums. I remember him hosting SNL years ago and he came out with a guitar and started playing Kung Fu Fighting which I thought he learned for the show as a goof.

As far as his movies the first few were entertaining and he is one of the few action stars who looks like he can actually kick $@! and knows the arts, but his movies are so bad now and his ego is huge he borders on being a cartoon character. But when I read how much he loves music and how good his knowledge of the blues is it gave me a new look on the guy.

Well, his guitar playing is better than mine, but my Russian is better than his, so that makes us even...doesn't it?

He plays guitar better, had a better film career, has a reality show, and was married to Kelly LeBroc at one time.

Yep, he wins.

I did NOT know he played though until today.
