Guitar Guitar, Down by the Tron in Glasgow, Scotland
Merchant City Music, Glasgow Scotland.

The latter is the best music store in the city (and probably the country). Small and fairly intimate shop, friendly staff, great selection of guitars ranging from top end Rickenbackers and Fenders to starter Squire packs. Also do the cheapest set up in town with a free set of strings, score!

I haven't found a local Fender dealer that I'd give a thumbs up to. Right now I'm waiting for a replacement of my birthday present. It's a white/blonde 1957/2007 strat. The stand the store had placed it in was red & it bled through the wood. Plus the store decided to leave out the ashtray bridge cover, accessories and Fender manual. :?

My husband doesn't play guitar, so he didn't know what to look for.

Here in Santa Fe there is a nice little place called Candyman. Great service I have been going there since I was a little kid with my dad. I have bought almost all my gear there. They Treat me great and I never pay full price.

Hey Geezer, I know him well.

Have you seen their new "guitar room?" They bought out the Indian Grocery store next door and doubled the size of the store... looks nice, although just as packed as before!

Yep, nice store. Starting to look like Guitar Center, though. Just kidding!!

Went to check out the store, and look at Fender amps. Ended up buying an Esquire Guitar. Go figure.
