There's a venue where I live in Richmond, VA that books tribute bands ALL the time. Like every other show is a GD tribute band (Journey, LZ, Nirvana/Pearl Jam, even Michael Jackson).

The popular GNR cover band 'round here is called Rocket Queen fronted by Blaxel Rose.

ZoSo comes around a lot too.

our drummer was in a tribute band for awhile called 'Ultimate Oz' the band sounded like the recordings but the singer sounded like Ozzys little brother but it was cool.

I still like Dread Zeppelin....lol
Oh and Hayseed Dixie......AC/DC cover band....these are both real bands for those unenlightened....check 'em out they are pretty funny.

Thing is though Hayseed Dixie do everyone. Played here last year I think. Their version of Queens Fat Bottom Girls is great.

There's an all girl Iron Maiden tribute band called Iron Maidens.

And the Zep tribute band, The White.
The lead singer is Michael White.
