I am not that familiar with used Marshall pricing but know that new JCM 800 head goes for close to $2500 CAD with taxes.

Thank you

Thats the same combo as I have. I paid £250 for mine around 96/97. They go for up to £800 for a pristine model these days when you see them. They are getting rarer. They first went into production around 85. Its not the same as the JCM800 2203. Thats a single channel amp. This is a two channel amp, one drive and the other more drive. It has an effects loop too. The cleaner channel is the bumblebees bazooka. It does a good repro of a plexi, or even a master volume JCM800 1959. The drive channel is prime for ride the lightning era metalica. There seems to be something up with the standby/power on switch of the amp your looking at. Here's my hard gigged one for comparison.

As for worth/value. If its a 85 it will be officialy vintage as of 31st december. Its hard to say what they fetch in your part of the world. Marshall prices are very different overseas. Would I pay $1200CA for it. Yep if I didnt have one. Its my must have amp, more so than my JCM800KK also in that picture.
Dont be shocked by the treb, mid, bass controls lack of range. As with all good marshalls all the tone control is in the volume controls.

$1200 CAD/$1137.33 USD seems about right. THese are the nest JCM800s IMO.

I have an 83 JCM 800 2204 the 50 wt version of the 2203(which Jim Marshall said was his best amp)and these heads go for around $1,800 on Ebay these days but they are well worth it.I also have an 84 JCM 800 4210 1-12 combo and they are great also as they have a boost/gain channel and reverb it's great clean or overdriven and you can pick them up used for around $900.
