2010 will be just another year that flashes by,
just like all the others through the decades gone by.

One year older, one year closer to death,
and 1 year closer to 2012 :D can't wait to see if all the hoopla about it is correct :!:

I think I'll call this coming year 011111011010 or 07DA
or maybe 0010,0000,0001,0000 :D

I've been calling it 0-10 (oh-ten) and it is driving my fiance crazy. She's going with 2010 (twenty-ten) or just ten.

I don't like the sound of just ten, I wouldn't know what the heck she was talking about.

Just as I say I was born in nineteen-fifty-three, I will call this coming year twenty-ten. I'm too old to learn anything new.

Two-thousand-ten.

"Twenty-ten" just gets my goat.
It's like when all those media women refer to some celebrity's husband as their "hubby".

A couple coworkers and I were talking about this and we're all calling it two thousand ten (to go along with two thousand nine). One other thing occurred to us is that few seem to have referred to the previous decade as anything (e.g., "the noughts" or whatever) and no one around the building so far is called this decade anything.

I guess we'll just have to wait for "the twenties" again.

I don't remember that, but all the trailers and cast for "2012" have been using the same syntax -- that is "twenty twelve."
