Do you think the first century Christian prophets forsaw CB radio? Maybe even the Apostle John, he lived till a ripe old age so they say.

It would certainly explain all that 10-4 business.

Roger that..... What's your 10-20 Good Buddy?

I didn't call 2001 two hundred one so I will call it two thousand and ten.

I think it's important that we really nail this issue here and now. So that when we get to 3001 we are fully prepared. Then we can hit the ground running.

BTW: ask the Jewish and Muslim Forum users (amongst others) how they pronounce the name of this year. Some very different answers...

Cheers - C

I believe they call it the Year of the Ox.

Of course, I'm still putting Rat on my checks. I'm so far behind. 8)

I was born in the year of the rat. Current behaviour makes me ask myself, did they miss a P out?

Even Christianity puts us at 2003 or 1976. Depending on whether you take 0 AD as being Christs birth or ressurection.

Seems I was born in the year of the dragon and so take on some of the personality traits of that animal.

I am Year of the Rat on Chinese calendar too. But I would say we are different years though Nik.

Right now I'm calling it next year, when it is 2010, I'll call it this year and in 2011 I'll call it last year.
After that I'll have to name it but I've plenty of time to make up my mind!

Maybe. Though I don't hold much to any form of astrology. It takes the light from the nearest star (Alpha Centauri) 4000 odd years to get here. How the hell did that lump of rock millions and gazzillions of miles away, know what I'm going to be doing tommorow, 4000 years ago.

I do however put some store in this basic form of astrology. Its got a half decent description of me, my missus and 3 daughters. You and I have more in common than we differ too CV. You got the brains and I got the looks though  .

Ceri looking at my little book the dragon is confident and idealistic. I'd say your fairly confident (see that burnt strat you offered to repair). I'd also say your quite idealistic. Idealistic tempered by common sense, but we all dream.

It also says a dragon will do everything in his power to make his dreams come true, or acheive his goals.

Thats pretty much got you summed up mate.

I dont see how it could apply to everyone born in 1988 though.

Man, it's one of those depressing little landmarks in life when you find yourself chatting to grownups who truly are young enough to be your son or daughter. :(

1988? I wish...
