Does anyone know why Fender discontinued the Meguiar's guitar care products? I find that the products were good and now I am having problems to find them. Was there a problem with these products?

What exactly are you looking for? As it still seems to be available...

It seems like the only difference is, it might be under the name of Fender guitar products, but they are made by Meguiuars...

Meguiars...I just have a strange feeling that the Guitar Products they offer are just variations, or just repackaged, car cleaning products?

Ok I am from Canada and I have had to order from the states and some of the places do not ship to Canada. I have like the case deodorizer and the color restorer. I had stock up on the chrome & brass cleaner/polisher, mist & wipe finish enhancer, swirl & haze remover, polish and conditioner and the fretboard conditioner and I have 2 bottles of each and would like to get more not only do they do a great job but also smells very good. Some of the other companies that I tried were bad smelling and did not perform well some had a bad fish smell. For the people that have enjoyed them as much as I did you should stock up if you can find them. And the case deodorizer really work to get the smoke smell out with just one application. My case no longer smells like an ashtray.

Meguiars "guitar care" products are the same as Meguiars car care products (just repackaged) go to your local auto parts store and pick up all the cleaner and polish you need.

Really, they are the same stuff.

The Spray Mist, Swirl and Haze and Polish were a great set as 80% of the time you just wipe it down with the Mist and then every so often you give it a polish. I guess it was not moving that many units anymore as I cant see any other reason for discontinuing a good product.
