I'd love to see reissues of lesser known Fender models, such as the Coronado and Starcaster, but there's probably not much of a market for that.Just the occasional oddball like me with a fondness for obscure Fenders. Obviously I'd love to get the DeArmond brand back (I own an M77-t),but with Gretsch offering the Electromatic range that's certainly not going to happen. Don't get me wrong;I love Strats,Tellies,Ps an Js, it's just that there's not much else in the catalogue...

How about an mp3/mp4 player with lacquered tweed covering?!

Or a DAB radio in the shell of the current tweed mini amp?!

Fender has so much covered, but they are very weak in the sub-$500 giggable tube amp market. And that's right where their competitors are aiming. Kustom, Peavey, Bugera, Epiphone. And that's right where kids and first-time early adopters develop brand loyalty. You want to be there, and well represented. It's very good for business.

So I propose a new line for Fender, a sub-label like Squier: Glasstone by Fender. A series of very affordable sub-$500 street tube amps made in China. One 6L6/KT66/EL34 switchable monotube close-ended Class A with soak similar to the Windsor Studio. One twin 6V6 stripper similar to the Princeton. And a bare-bones twin 6L6 called the Texas Special with 40 watts for $499 street. If Pignose can do it for $299, Fender can do it for $499.

Just send a check Fender. The above is worth about 50 million to you. And have it ready for press a week before NAMM.

Oh, I forgot, I would love a Strat with a built-in sustainer! The Edge signature model perhaps? Unlikely given his stronger penchant for G*****s, though one can dream.

Fender Radio! Wouldn't it be cool to be able to tune in to a Fender sponsored station on the web? Certainly there is a ton of archived material that could be made available but I would really dig a real radio station dedicated to guitars, interviews with players and builders, clinics and lessons etc etc. Being able to listen to Fender Radio while I do my 'too much traveling' would really be great.

It wouldn't even have to broadcast all the time. Maybe just like a show every week or something.

Hi everyone, I am super glad I caught this thread....
This is important, dig, there is indeed a new Fender Effects pedal product line (applauds!!). Currently the line consists of one pedal, the FENDER BLENDER CUSTOM reissue (along with some modern day improvements like true bypass), http://www.fender.com/resources/catalog ... e_2007.pdf. If you want the most intense, over the top germanium fueled fuzz plus insane octave effects in one pedal, you gotta visit your Fender dealer and check one of these bad boys out, oh, and yes, they like being fed into a tube amp, with a preference for the Fender species of course. WARNING: Not suitable for the faint of heart.

Pedal Prowlers: Be on alert for the release of some more deliciously sick brand new Fender pedals debuting very soon! Can't give the detailed low down, but they are all centered around "expression."

Until later....Have a rockin 4th!!!!

Doesn't the new Mustang line fill this and much more?

Pedals would definitely be cool, and an online radio does seem like a fendery thing, maybe some new color options?
I'm sort of low on fresh ideas at the moment...

...oh wait! I would love to see a thinline strat. Those are so cool looking. It would be cool to see some more competition mustangs. (I been gassing for a mustang lately)

another cool idea- if they make a pedal for a whammy, pitch-shift, detune, wah or autowah, etc. they should call it "the Fender Bender..."
