Well my #1 would have to be a Boss TS808 with a Moreley Wah. With these two pedals and a Strat you are pretty much set. I also like a Boss DD3 as you can have tons of fun with delay from thickening up , slap back or just going over the (Edge)lol These would be the three I could not live without.

The worst pedal I ever bought hands down an Electro Harmonix Pulsar Tremolo. After 3 attempts of an hour each of trying to pull anything useful out of it, it has never seen the light of day again

It would be between the gas, brake and clutch pedals. :P

E-H Germanium OD pedal. Such a good distortion, like cracking the speakers

There's not that much discussion about the combination effect pedals. I have a digitech RP250 pedal which I use live. Overall with the versatility of the effects combined to having a pedal that can be assigned to a wah, volume, etc, I can almost get any sound I want for the songs which my band does (mostly 70's and 80's rock). Also I can program sounds to have the rhythm and the solo sounds for one song next to each other, and switch between them with one click of the pedal. I can achieve sounds nearly identical to the recorded version of many songs from Pink Floyd, Bryan Adams, Stones, etc. There are some issues with the pedal, but they are quite limited, like the flange is nice but does provide some distortion to the sound on one part of its envelope. I had issues with feedback with high gain sounds but that was related to a slightly microphonic pickup. The problem was fixed after the pickup was potted.
