Right now, I'm not looking for anything particular, just do some guitar/amp trading, maybe buy some NOS tubes for my amps.

The last year or so I've been Jonesing for a PRS Hollow Body II with the LR Baggs system.

Take a look:

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

I too would like a 52 AVRI Telecaster or a real 1978 Telecaster.

Or a MIJ double bound reissue Tele

Hell I'd take a Squier Telecaster butterscotch and black.

I would absolutely love a Hwy 1 Telecaster...Not happening.

I would also love a Boss DD7 Delay pedal...Still pobably not happening.

I would settle for strings and a polishing kit...Still not on my family's radar.

Calogne anyone?

My family knows I love playing, but does not seem to encourage me too much. My wife is the only one who remotely encourages me, but the kind words of inspiration are few and far between.

My family are strangely the same. Even when I have good magazine reviews or anything else I would count as an achievement they have always been kinda 'meh' about it.

Thats why we got each other bro and our guitars too of course!

always admiring Santa and then having the opportunity to play him after growing into the uniform I discovered that as Santa I could bring Santa anything that he wanted, don't know what it will be yet.

I'm considering buying myself a nice Fender Bass, believe it or not. But the price has really got to be just right.

This year's going to be tough, since my Dad is still unemployed. But he does get an odd job here and there, and there are people helping us out so we don't have to worry about losing the house or anything truly horrible like that. If I get any cash I'm going to keep saving it for the '68 Fender Coronado they have sitting there torturing me at Guitar Center. I'm about a quarter of the way there, and if it's still there after Christmas I'm going to see about a payment plan and/or layaway.

I can relate man, I am 31 and only been playing 10-11 months and my family thinks it is just a phase and can't understand why I would want some new parts for my guitar or why I am wasting time and money in the guitar. I'm lucky I have my aunt who is a good guitar and piano player because I found out today she got me 2 lessons with one of the best guitar players in my area. It's tough not having support but it is super cool that your wife is supportive because that means a lot. But I can certainly relate.

Would you consider this a nice Fender bass or no? If so I can get you a good deal, let me know.

I'm strongly considering getting rid of this blues jr that seems to have evolved into a coffeetable. 3 guitars will probably follow it. Aslong as theres a strat, a tele and maybe my jackson I have everything I could ever need.
I wouldnt mind some new pickups but refuse to pay todays extortionate prices for them, and I dont know exactly what I want. I doubt I'd be happy with any of the popular run of the mill choices. May start to wind my own.
