Alright! I want all of you guys (and girls!) who love and respect Fender instruments (and everything else in the Fender product line) to show and express your appreciation and respect for those that make, manufacture and service all those fine products! (I'm not saying you don't respect them, I'm just saying it would be nice to show them that we do). I don't want you to think that I'd love to kiss some asses, I just think that Fender are the finest instruments in the world! And I have deep respect for those that are trying to make it stay that way! I have always been fascinated by guitar manufacturing, it's like giving a birth to a child (ok, maybe I'm going out of my mind, I don't know), but no one really talks or barely mentions those people working at Fender and their love of the same qualities and virtues of the same things we on this forum love and cherish!
I don't think that Fender would be the same without their love for those instruments,so... We are all here on the same wavelength!
Thanks for understanding!

Sounds like you would enjoy Fender University. You would have the opportunity to tell them all yourself. After the 1st session I was asked by Fender to write a article in Fenders Newsletter, and pretty much thanked all of them for the outstanding reception and warm hospitality, they think its really cool that folks feel the way they do about there product. And its not uncommon to run into wellknown guitarist there having guitars built for themselves. All in all its the closest thing you will get to wounderland

Yeah, I would enjoy Fender University, it's just that I'm from Europe so it' kind of hard for me to make it come true. Maybe some day!

One of the guys was from Romainia, another from Singapore. It is a long journey and it was shear resolve on their parts to make it happen .They were not dissapointed .I know that Fender is planning another session and there is always lots of notice. Making a dream come true starts with absolute resolve that what you visualize will come true.Works for me .

Works for me too! I want to go, no question about it, but there is also a money issue. So, I'll go when I can. Thanks for the information. I really appreciate it! I've never really thought about Fender University before. I just realized it existed the other thay, so I think I have time to think about it! If there is anything to think about really! When I get the money, I'm coming. Count me in! Can't tell you when, you know how it works with that sort of thing. I'm still paying off my digital piano.

I sure appreciate my Fenders, love 'em in fact.

Fender U would be great but it's out of my means, I have read about how great the experience is.

It would be neat if Fender could post some info about their employees - kind of an Employee of the Week thing. I love my Fender guitars and I'd like to know more about the people who installed the frets, or routed the body, or drove the forklift carrying the neck blanks around. I'm sure some are just there for the job but many are dedicated employees who probably love being a part of building such great instruments. I'd like to know more about 'em!

That's a good idea! I also would like to see a employee of the week posting with a little history of the employee included! :)

That's an excellent idea! I'm glad you share my thoughts about it! Actually, it could work! I think that guys from Fender could make more videos, or photographs, promotional material or whatever you want to call it, and give us more access into the whole process of making, distributing, even managing...the company! I'm pretty positive that there are a lot of guys and girls out there that want to know more about it.
I'm hungry for that sort of thing!!! I want to be a part of it in a way!
So, I think this forum could help develop ideas, and make a great deal out of it for all of us! In communicating with guys in Fender I mean.
We all know they can hear us, it's their move!

I think this is a great idea. I also believe that our gratitude shown and received on a personal basis would build employee morale and would result in even better quality. So to those who design build cut sand paint and every thing else that goes with building our tools and toys I want to say Thank You.

I agree. I absolutely love Fender guitars and amps. It has come to the point that that is all I play. All my other non Fender gear is collecting dust. I keep it around for when someone comes over and needs gear to use...I think that the folks who make our fine instruments and amps deserve a huge THANK YOU for making the best gear in the world!!
Eric :D
