He must have squashed someones toe with his walker.

Now if the silly old bugger did hit his wife/girlfriend (whatever) he needs to be punished because YA DON'T HIT WOMEN.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

Disappointed, he's my favourite Strolling Bone. If only cos he was in The Faces and Izzy's Ju Ju Hounds as well.

3 of my fave bands.

Man, Ronnie has got to get his crap together. I heard reports last year that his drinking was a big problem during the Bigger Bang tour and he was going to be "released" from the group if he couldn't get it under control.

Who could ever imagine a day when someone would drink too much to be in the Stones.

Yep, they're old but I love 'em and would love to see them live once before Keith's luck runs out.

I enjoyed reading his book, the last chapter lead me to believe all is well in Ronnie land. Maybe there will be an update to the book.

He did seem to be a decent guy, maybe the best of us could be overwhelmed by the rock and rock life style. Just the nature of the beast.

Doubt it. Far too complex a personality issue to begin to unravel here other than to say that some of the vintage footage I've seen of him and Stewart on stage in their 'yute' would suggest otherwise. It's either in you to behave in that fashion or not as I see it.

Absolutely. We make far too many excuses for people. Theres no excuse at all for anyone to get handy with their fists, whilst under the influence. Far too many people cry off as alcoholics with problems, that are really 2 pint charlies with no self control.

Besides the drink a few years back I was more disappointed they were going to boot him for smoking crack. It is hard for me to fathom a 60 year old who has seen it all and has it all smoking crack. I have always liked Ron and outside of being a tremendously talented player he seems to be the perfect band mate and does what is required .

I have to see what happened before really passing judgment as the news story I saw hardly spoke about the incident and put all the focus on the fact he is in his sixties and she is 20.
