I absolutely agree with you. Life is fantastic.

I'm a workaholic with no job. (thats caused a bit of a brain melt this last year. spent 9 months thinking i was dying)
No prospects outside of my previous job.
Little intellegence

I'm the luckiest man alive today. I get to bum around the house tinkering with guitars. I get out to play a couple of times a week. My missus is a fantastic cook, loves me unendingly. The kids are all fantastic, the future dictator- school ace, the daddies princess-maths genius, and the little despot with a penchant for torturing her dad with sleep depravation.
Add to that, no one bothers me. I've no friends in my locale, that come troubling me to do things for em.

I've got it made.

If the housing market ever recovers I'll be back to working a 80 hour week and loving that too. Its all perspective.

I am with you! I have an incredible wife with who I am so deeply in love I still can't believe how lucky I am. I have a job I am good at and enjoy. I will be able to retire in 6 years and never have to work again. We have our dream retirement home up in the Adirondack mountains. I have all the gear a guy could possibly want and when I retire from the Army I will be able to open up my recording studio and just enjoy music!!! Talk about an incredible life!! :D

Yeah exactly. I lost a lot of time with my middle daughter right up till she was 6. I've been hand in hand with the youngest. Financialy things are crap, but you just cant buy them first few years back.

I'm planning on sending the missus out to work and becoming a house husband. These women have had it easy for years whilst we were out grafting.

Hey Niki, being a househusband is a great job. I've been one since retirement. She doe leave me a list of chores daily though, but I'm getting to be real good at house work, cleaning, washing, and cooking. I won't tell her how good it is though!!

Gratz, I've always known that's the kind of person you are!! :) 8)

That conjoured up some disturbing images, that remind me of baboons funnily enough.
