I've also had problems when I click on things it can take forever to display the new page.

Just for the record, the image that you have in your signature isn't loading for me and that's one of the challenges here too -- sometimes sluggishness on THIS area of the site can occur that isn't even necessarily due to anything we (Fender) are doing but rather due to images that members themselves are posting.

Brad, one of the more noticable problems I have encountered is when I get topic reply e-mail and I click on the link to get back to the site to view the replies on the thread. Sometimes it takes a while to connect into the thread. It happened once in a while before the new site, but seems to do it more now. Yeah, I know the item in my signature line is down occasionally. It seems that when that hosting site is updated it makes viewing those items impossible for a short time. I've seen it happen with others on the forums also, but just for short periods of time.

Brad,

Your site appears to be performing a really well for the last couple of days that I have visited. about 4 time at home a once at work (during lunch of course). Hopeful I won't have any more problems.

Thanks

And see, that's kinda what I'm getting at too 'cause the honest truth is that we've not done anything in the time period you've mentioned that would result in a sudden increase in performance for you. Soooooooo many variables at play in this realm that it can be extremely difficult to debug things remotely.

Yeah, but to me it still sounds like the server room has the load-balancer fluid a quart low ...
