SO I am looking for a case for my Telecaster as a gift to myself after I sold my acoustic guitar.

I have several choices, what do you guys think is the best deal? I'm thinking the SKB is the best deal but it's a big case just to carry around to jam out around town.

The tweed is tempting at that price, he said he would cut me a deal on 2--1 for my HWY 1 babygirl and 1 for my Japanese sweetie

The G&G case looks much better but it is tolex and not tweed

The tweed is incredibly durable and tough!! I dropped mine and my Tele was nice and safe! Plus it just screams...classic Fender! :D

BCB - go with the tweed my Man. Tele's and tweed just go together!

yeah tweed is my #1 choice, i just wish i could put my tele in it firstto make sure it is ok. I dont know but I dont think this guy would be selling the same case as musicians friend, because if they are the same then the one on MF got pretty shady reviews...can you tell if they are different by looking at them? I couldnt...

Get a ATA approved guitar case if you really want to take care of a guitar. If you buy a Tweed one just realize not all tweed cases are the same quality. I have seen many that are real junk but if your just carrying back and forth from a car they will do. As a road case forget it!!!!

yeah the SKB ATA case is super duty and looks near bulletproof. I'm just gonna be carrying it around town so I think the tweed should be good. I am going to get 2 of them (Hwy1 and MIJ Tele) but I asked the guy if I buy 2 will he cut me a deal and I wanted a closer picture of the inside to make sure it's snug enough that once I turn it sideways the guitar isnt going to slide out of the neck restraint. The cases similar on musicians friend have a terrible rating because of that issue

CV what do you think about this case, junk or decent for a tweed? I know it is hard to tell from a pic but see what you think...
