As you travel down the path, you'll find these guy's shouting in from the sides all the way down the line.
There is a gesture. I think it's something like the middle finger pointing upwards, to the chorus of "Spin on this"
Keep yourself focused, we've all had to live with these, with much stronger comments than you got I might add.
Play on man.

Yeah I've learned to not give those kinds of things a second thought. Its not worth it and the only person being bothered by the whole thing is you, the other person doesn't give a crap.

Plus, I'd like to see what his skills are like, I'm sure he can't even come close to what you can do on the guitar.

It is annoying when people say stuff like that, but you just have to ignore it and find comfort in knowing they have no talent.

I played my own version of the Star Spangled Banner for a friend once, and when i finished, he just said, "Hendrix's was better." Well, duh.

Just don't worry about it. Most of those people know nothing about music or the guitar.

Ya know, Stryder, everytime I think I suck at gittar, I go into the Guitar Center and listen to the 'players' in there. It's always some guys going over some sequence they've learned, as fast as possible. Always in the coldest, most annoying tone they can select. Where they plan on applying
this stuff, I dont know.

If you're coming up with chord progressions, you're understanding guitar, and music at a broader and deeper level.

And there's way more money in songs than in 'runs'.
Ask, McCartney, ask Springsteen, ask any of 'em.

Hang in there.
