Good luck Nevin! Now go in there with a smile and a positive attitude. Keep the attitude even if you don't land this job as something else will also show up out of the blue! :)

Excellent, good news indeed.

Now take some time on the computer and do your research. Find out all you can about the company, know what they're all about so you can ask appropriate and informed questions. Cut your hair (if need be, it'll grow back) and get appropriate clothes (suit probably not necessary for all jobs) , look up some interview techniques/do's and don't's, etc.

Yes it does sometimes but what can you do? Put your best foot forward!!!! Sell yourself to possible employers.

Hope it works out for you Nevin. I recall how I felt going back to work after an extended lay off, felt like my feet were 5 feet off the ground when I was walking. And no, no herb or similar substances involved.

Good luck Nevin.

One tip: No matter how much you hated your former job or boss, don't bring it up in your interview. The interviewer might start to think that it is not your former boss or job but you that had some issues. It is also a trust thing. If he asks why you quit your former job just be cool about it say something like "I needed some change of scenery ... blablabla".

Keep it cool about your former job and be confident in your self. 8)

When life hands you a pile of turd, turn things around and use it as fertiizer to grow something beautiful.I know what hard times are, several years ago I came dangerously close to losing my house, car and just about everything else but somehow I hung in there and things started to improve when life seemed it's bleakest.Hang in there things have a way of sorting themselves out, good luck.

Things will pick up Nev bro. I know you and I have had our disagreements here but thats what this place is for.

I got your back bro, we all do.

Keep the guitar, its your escape pod and I'll keep hopin and prayin things turn out good for you.

A few months back I was in a bad way and until recently, as these guys know, I wasn't even sleepin. Music and this place with the wonderful people here got me through.

I know it may seem that there is no light at the end of the tunnel right now but there is. Please believe me and if you ever need to vent or unload just gimme a shout.

Cheers.

CC

Its a complete head pickle when it happens man. I had so much goin on in my personal life that my brain was simply being overworked. I could only get to sleep by making myself pass out, usually with booze or simply by being awake for days at a time.

I hope you got nothin serious goin on and you get some rest soon!
