haha, same here, that was my dream wishlist I posted! I'm lucky to have gotten something small for the few people in my life that matter and if all goes well I may be able to eek out a Telecaster for myself, although that looks unlikely!

Indeed!!!

On the other hand:

Here is my list that I gave my wife
1 a pedal board
2 a case for my spare tubes
3 a ceramic slide
4 a tweed guitar strap

that's all i need

airbornestrat, that is such a reasonable list that if you come for a quick Christmas visit to my town I will buy you all of that stuff myself. :D

And ditto to this:

10. And a set of Tex Mex Pups for my 2006 MIM Standard Sunburst Strat!

Hey, Christmas presents are on Ceri this year!

I was wondering about asking for a modestly priced FX pedal from my Missus. But there isn't one I want, so I guess it's socks as usual.

But reading some of the lists here, maybe I should be more greedy...?

Cheers - C

I'm getting old so all I really want is a comfortable 3" guitar strap to hold up my heavy old Telelcaster Thinline. Seems to get heavier every year...

Ceri has a point. My Xmas Gear Lust list is much too long. It makes me appear to be greedy and materialistic.

Well, if the shoe fits . . .

I'd gladly hop aboard the new job train, making sandwiches sucks. I wish I could get a 57 Champ for something other than and arm and a leg, perhaps just the leg so I could still play >_>

Well, since we've decided to ditch the gift thing and pretty much the whole Christmas thing from now on, this WOULD be my ideal Christmas list....

1. Vox AC30 - A nice, old one that was made in England. :P
2. Les Paul Traditional - Probably a Gold Top
3. Les Paul Studio - Probably Wine Red
4. American Standard Stratocaster - Blizzard Pearl/Maple
5. American Standard Telecaster - Natural/Maple
6. Delay pedal that has five second delay and up
7. Wah pedal
8. Floor stands
9. A nice quality radio for my room
10. Straps
11. An endless supply of high E strings - probably Ernie Ball Regular Slinky
12. A guitar polishing cloth
13. Guitar polish
14. Wire cutters

Yep. I think that's it. 8)

But like I said, that WOULD be my dream Christmas list, but since we ain't doing the Christmas thing anymore, I can ONLY dream. :P
