Can you expand on what you are trying to do ?

Normally pedals go in the signal path between the instrument and the amp.
Then you mic the amp.
Unless you are trying to go straight into a recording program on a workstation.

For me when I use pedals in the studio I just take one...my Digitech RP355. IMO a great all around pedal. I will also use a Boss ME 20. Again great multi effects. Both pedals are prgrammmable and I have modified several settings and made up my own chain of effects.
