I don't mean to say anyone has a genre they fit into. Damn it i'd love to be pidgeon-holed. Never gonna happen. But, i don't know ya's personally so, what song do you like to either listen or play to that is completely off the register when it comes to what ya normally do?
Sorry for all weird questions i just think these things while out in back garden freezin my balls off and contributing to the cancer my final curtain

I play (am learning) a lot of Latin rock and Spanish music and most people are blown away by it when I start singing the songs because they most sound like classic American rock.

Something like this sounds super cool without lyrics, but when you throw in the lyrics is blows people away, pretty easy song too, I just learned it last week

A little different from the rock and classic rock I have played when I jammed with others.

Well I have a selection of songs that I play that are in no way related or sound like each other. When I want to try something new my first port of call is tv themes. Beavis and Buttheads tune is fantastic, also the theme tune from the Sweeny and Hill street blues. Ofcourse King of the Hill has been a long fave of mine. The real bonus is that its all readily available, just turn the gogglebox on, pick your guitar up and off you go.
