I just came across these guys today while reading an interview, and I think they're awesome. Can someone recommend me an album from the Lowell George era?

Thanks :)

Feats Don't Fail Me Now

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feats_Don't_Fail_Me_Now

I saw Little Feat and Fleetwood Mac open for Dave Mason.
As a guitar player I was sitting there wondering how Dave Mason was going to follow Lowell George who just ripped it up on slide Stratocaster and Fleetwood Mac's new line up that brought all this new material that was about a week away from being one of the most sucessful rock recordings ever.

Dave didn't play scared at all; he played some great guitar and put on a wonderful show.

Back to Feat: Be sure to check out Lowell's solo record too: Thanks, I'll Eat It Here

"Feats Dont Fail Me Now", is great. It's got;

Rock and Roll Doctor
Oh Atlanta
Spanish Moon
and, Skin It Back
all on one CD.

Great stuff.

+1 Waiting for Columbus
Ripe Tomatoes (not all Lowel but all great stuff)
Raw Tomatoes (**)

I think Feat are a band that comes off better Live. Their Studio stuff is great, you can't go wrong with any of 'em, but Live is where Feat shine.

The stuff with Shawn Murphy and Freddy Tacket is great stuff, too. Some fine Strat Playin' between Paul and Freddy.
