I have been outta the loop so to speak for the past couple of weeks. Had a health issue that really drained me and I'm just now starting to feel like my old self again.

We've missed ya, man! Good to see you 'round here again and very sorry to hear about your health issue -- certainly hope it was nothing major.

Welcome back! I had noticed that you haven't been posting anything in awhile. Glad to hear your kickin' again.

My dad found out a few days ago from his doctor that he was showing signs of Emphysema. He's 54 and has been smoking 2 packs a day all his life. He hasn't quit yet. I don't think he intends to either. I myself also smoke about 2 packs a day and would like to quit, but I just don't put forth the effort. The damn things are just so good (and expensive, hehe).

First off, I applaud you for quitting, Chet. My Grandpa had emphysema,
and ended up bed-ridden for the last few years of his life.
Of course he'd been smoking for at least 50 years - 3 packs a day.
Needless to say, I've never smoked, and never will.
Again, I applaud you for quitting, here's to more years doing what you love! :D
