Actually, I don't see that it's a whole lot different. Of course, I haven't seen it with my home computer yet. Everything still works pretty much the same way.

Colour schemes can change without notice as far as I'm concerned, but I do miss the dynamic re-sizing. Now I can't check out the forum in a small browser window if my two-year-old son is watching his Thomas the Tank Engine train accident videos...

Ah-ha! The very point I was making on this thread:

http://www.fender.com/community/forums/ ... hp?t=30342

(Though I didn't consider the Thomas The Tank Engine aspect of the whole thing. Man, that adds an extra level of complexity...)

Cheers - C

It does take some getting used to, but I like it.

Hey there is no doubt about it the improvements far outweigh any mishaps, but I only think it is fair that everyone can have the right to speak up about what they thought was better about the old site. I still hope they go back to boxing the threads instead of just having them listed down a page as I dont see it as an improvement. I love the video section and for those who have not gone over go check it out .

The picture is perfectly clear and there is some goos stuff up already. Check out Keith Urban and his shattered mirror Tele and what it took to make it(a month alone to do the mirror facing) and check out the birds eye neck on that guitar. A better one you will never find. These are the videos I want to see. With the players and builders together talking about what went into making an amazing guitar like that,

I would also like to see more videos with just the builders talking shop. So yes there are some things to fix but the new site is totaly improved and with some tweaking will be close to perfect.

I like this new one much better.

The old one was a bit too dark and dreary for my tastes.

This one is brighter and more up-lifting, more positive appearing.
Makes me want to look more at what Fender offers.

I like the old site better (no comment on the forum side of it all). This new site seems like I am shopping on GC or MF web site. The old site seemed to showcase the instruments better.

I like it this way better.

I think if you feels so strongly about it then start a poll. See what the outcome is.

I like it, the post screen area was way too small. I would like to be able to hyper-link a text name, instead of inserting a hyperlink itself.
