Now can we use this whole thread to show everyone out there who is afraid of buying a guitar on ebay that there is nothing to be afraid of. There are so many great deals to be had and those guitars that are hard to find are a click away. Not every transaction is perfect and this just goes to show that things do go wrong. But you are not going to get beat and robbed liked somany people are afraid of.

I have scored a lot of great deals and saved a fortune in the process and I would only like to see others get in on it. Especially when it is a total buyers market. Just use your head and dont rush as there is always something to take the place of something you have been outbid on.

$@!& I sound like I work for ebay.lol No it is just that I have taken advantage of the times and know how to use the system inside ans out.

I am going to zip it but just leave this last piece of advice. If someone list an item as mint still ask them =are there any dents, dings, scratches, stress cracks in the neck joint, buckle rash, worming, How are the frets, and has there been any mods to the guitar. Thank you .

Now 1 out of every 4 guitars listed as mint after I write that I get a -after taking another look I noticed a small ------.

So I dont care how it is listed I read them there rights so there are no disappointments when the item comes. Also on items that say no returns all sales are final. You can throw that out the window too if something comes not as described. Good luck everyone and I am going to post some scores I got of ebay very soon.

Straycat same thing here, I have scored great deals on gear from ebay. I just tried to make sure the seller was as reputable as possible and addressed all the questions I has. This guy satisfied all the questions I asked and sent various pictures as requested, just in the end he shipped it poorly so I can almost assume 95% that the neck pocket cracks werent there because he sent me pics of the neck pocket prior to shipping.

SO now I shift my focus to either removing the poly finish from a natural colors telecaster that is a sweet player and I can get for $150 in order to give it a nice sparkle red or charcoal grey/blue colored nitro finish...or looking for another red squier strat

Sorry to hear that man! It was a great deal and a beautiful guitar!
What a bad feeling it must have been when you unpacked the guitar!
I know I would have been pissed off and irritated! I don't even want to think about it!
