I would love to have the time and resources to fish. And also to golf and hunt. Wish I did.

All my hobbies are good for the brain but not so much the body. Except for the women.

Woman.... and posting at the Fender Lounge Forum.
I mean absolutely no disrespect or that another human being could be a hobby just saying with music and women there's not a lot of time for hobbies no way you could say that music......I ain't sayin' it, so women have double duty and you know the old saying "you can have what you want if I can have what I want" works every time.

Im not in the first flush of youth exactly but ive always been into motorbikes. In the 90,s made it into Europe 6 or 7 times, did the TT etc.
That and going to loads of gigs.

These days i watch more tv about wildlife and spent more time trundling round wildlife reserves and wondering where to go on holiday next.

I find holidays and most things guitar related engage my mind the most.

Still love bikes tho!

Other than music and guitars I enjoy fishing and hiking which would lead to camping.

Since my job is developing Russian and German educational materials, I spend a lot of time surfing the internet in those two languages. I'm pretty much a web junkie in any language.

I also read a lot, mostly nonfiction. Right now I'm reading The Stuff of Thought: Language As a Window Into Human Nature by Steven Pinker and End The Fed by Ron Paul. The latter title plays into my status as a political junkie with a decidedly libertarian bias.

My other big passion, as many here know, is good beer. Unfortunately, I am currently under doctor's orders to completely give up alcohol and red meat. This has been a big change for me, and I'm just starting to come to grips with it. Oddly enough, it's the meat I miss more than the alcohol.

I've been playing guitar since January of 2008. I'm still not very good, but it has been a major stress-reliever for me. I've joined the San Antonio Blues Society, and my goal is to participate in some of their open jams by next summer.
