I was just checking this guy out:

http://www.fattoneguitars.com/Moog_Guit ... /moo15.htm

And while that price is way more than I would be willing to pay for something not coming from the custom shop, the guitar looks super interesting.

Anyone ever played a Moog?

Yup, back in my times as a Keyboarder and Organist I used to play on a Minimoog - my favourite Analog Solo Synthesizer. I also had the chance to try out the Moog PianoBar - it is so sad that Bob Moog has passed away that soon. He was - like Leo - a true Genius. I`m still wondering what might have happened if Leo Fender and Bob Moog would have opened a Business together.

I worked with a guy that was a personal friend of Bob Moog. Moog would visit him and stay at this house. The guy was a keyboardist that did a big one man show. I forget his name right now...Iceberg, that's it!

I also met a guy that wrote programs with Moog.

As far as synths go, I saw Emerson, Lake, and Palmer is San Diego with Delaney and Bonnie opening. Keith Emerson was truly amazing. The synth was on stage and it was huge with patch wires going every where. When he lit up the place with his solo in "Oh What a Lucky Man He Was" your chest cavity beame part of his musical instrument. Trust me.

On a side note, I had seen Delaney and Bonnie about a week earlier in Long Beach. They played a completely different show. Laid back and Southern in Long Beach with Delaney giving the other musicians plenty of room. Delaney just blazed in S.D. with long leads and a lot of slide. I was impressed with his change to fit the venue.
