Austin. And the best part about it is that it actually has a chance of happening. :)

New York, New York. I miss it, I love it, it's in my blood and I hunger for it. Otherwise Clearwater, Florida; Nerja in Spain; Dublin perhaps......maybe Paris although I've fallen out with the French for the time being.

I would also love Alaska, it is a snowmobilers paradise. Plus I love the winter. Whats better than hangin outside by a bonfire with an old acoustic in the middle of winter!!

I'm really happy were i'm at but if i had to move and could choose i'd pick The Blueridge mountains of Tennessee. I'd build my own cabin on about 100 acres surrounded by nothing but mountainous beauty and wild life.

Martian you took the words right out of my mouth. Same here England. I sent my son last year with school and he loved London. This year (he just came back Sunday) he went to Germany and loved it. Maybe if school was like that when I went I would of gone more.lol

And if I do live in NYC, seeing as this is hypothetical, I want to live at the top of the Chrysler Building like Kingpin from Spiderman.

From what I gather, the scholastic level of education is higher across the board there. Consequently and speaking for myself, I don't know if I could promise a better personal attendance record if you know what I mean, what with both of us being products of the NYC Board of Education system and all.

All over Spain, to hang with my family there. But I'd want to be in Valencia most of the time...

Right where I am. Mountains to ski on one side - ocean to play, boat and swim on the other. Beautiful oxygen rich forests everywhere in between.

Where in the world you love to live, if only for a year or two, or longer?

I've had the good fortune to travel a heck of a lot and the world is full of places I like. Mind you, the more I've seen the more satisfied with my own corner of it I've become too.

I guess Venice is my number one fave, and I have indeed made many two and three month visits there over the last 30 years.

Stockholm is very civilized too. High quality of life and nice people.

I once spent three months at the Grand Canyon: wouldn't want to spend the rest of my life there, but it sure was a mighty scenic summer.

Oh, and I love India!

Man, but I could make this a long list...!

Cheers - C
