Hi guys,

I was wondering if anyone would be so kind as to cast their musical ear over this sound which I would like to recreate but can't quite work out how it's done?

I've heard it done numerous times over the years by numerous artists but the latest time I've come across it is in Richie Sambora's guitar solo to Bon Jovi's latest record, We Weren't Born To Follow.

At the end of the solo, he plays a note and dives on the trem at the same time, but the note seems to squeel kind of like some sort of harmonic?

I have posted a YouTube link to the song and would be very grateful if someone would take the time to see if they can enlighten me on how this sound is created.

The solo begins at 2:37 and the sound in question at around 2:51.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Russ :)
